The new Tampa Museum of Art is under construction in downtown Tampa's Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Its spectacular 66,000-square-foot Cornelia Corbett Center building is scheduled to open in early 2010. The museum's administrative offices are located in its interim facility at 2306 N. Brews By The Bay Ocktoberfest 2009
The Florida Aquarium's "Brews By The Bay," featuring hand-crafted beers from Anheuser-Busch, is the Aquarium's first fall beer and food festival with more than 30 beers from the specialty products of Anheuser-Busch and delicious food from more than a dozen area restaurants. The Florida Aquarium is one of Tampa Bay's most unique event space and offers full access to all of their exhibits during "Brews by the Bay". Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo Presents: Zoo Boo
When the sun goes down, the frights come out on Sept. 25-26 (Shriek Peek Weekend) and Oct. 2-3, 9-11, 15-18, 22-25 and 29-31. Hours are 7-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7-10 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays. Admission for Shriek Peek weekend (Sept. 25-26 only) is reduced to $10 per person age 3 and up.
